Donations:
A big thank you to everyone who has made a donation your support makes this endeavor much easier and I love hearing all the positive feedback about your appreciation for Lunar Flight.
While I have already purchased the Unity Pro License the ongoing funds are being used to purchase software to help with Lunar Flights development.
In particular I am using $300 to purchase Ludosity which will make integration with Steamworks much easier. This is under the assumption that Valve will approve Lunar Flight for sale on Steam.
Media Attention:
SimHQ probably the largest dedicated website for all things simulation oriented featured and excellent Preview of Lunar Flight. The article generated allot of interest in Lunar Flight for which I am very grateful.
The Escapist also had nice little write up about the Beta Trailer as well here.
Update on the Beta Release:
The Beta build featured in the Beta Trailer is coming soon. I estimate 2 weeks with an aim to release it before XMas. It features quite allot of new content and polish but there is still some remaining work I need to complete before it is ready. This will be the build I submit to Valve for Steam publishing approval hence why it is critical that everything is in place.
Here’s what to expect in the Beta:
- New Easy Map (Practice Crater)
- Upgrades
- Action Items
- Lost Cargo Missions
- New Profile System (Multiple Pilot Saves)
- Leaderboard Improvements
- Access to the Mission Computer in Fullscreen
- Additional Achievements
- Bug Fixes
- Polish
Note: The Leaderboards will be wiped clean for the Beta Release, older builds will no longer be able to connect to the Leaderboard.
Thank you for your Support!
